Capping kit taken in (Adrian’s new drill!!!!) and used by Adrian to make the bottom a bit larger. John moved the existing spoil from the top of Pensioners’ Pot through the rift to the bottom of Father Duckmas shaft. Adrian thinks the draught at the bottom is coming from the side rather than the floor. More capping, clearing and a bit of cementing next time. 1½ hours. John.
