John Cooper, Pete Hann, Kate Lawrence, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Double mix of cement taken in. Pete took in first bucket of cement to bottom of Father Duckmas shaft and started wall building whilst Jude and Kate were at the bottom removing clatch. After Adrian and John had delivered the other two buckets of cement to Pete they continued on down to Pensioners’ Pot. Kate and Jude then sent rocks up Pensioners’ Pot which John stored until stacking space ran out. They then switched back to clatch removal whilst Adrian and John took the rocks up to Pete. Once cleared a few more rocks were hauled up before Pete ran out of cement and Adrian went to the bottom for a look. Two more large rocks then hauled out, the largest being moved to where Pete had been cementing. Consolidation and enlargement now required at the bottom. 2½ hours. John.
