John Cooper, Rich Marlow, Alessio Sancetta, Wayne Starsmore and Adrian Vanderplank. Allesio, Wayne and Rich had a look at the dig face. Wayne reckons we should have gone horizontally through the wall Pete has built. First of all the spoil was hauled from the bottom stacking space at 184m OD up to the stacking space at 195m OD. Then we all moved on up and hauled to the Tunnel at 208m OD. Rather drippy again today! Another session, preferably on a dry day, to get the spoil to the surface. 2 hours. John.

Saturday 25th March 2023

John Cooper, Nigel Graham (Entrance shaft), Pete Hann and Adrian Vanderplank. Capping kit taken down and used by Adrian on rocks at the bottom. One mix of cement taken down and used by Pete at the bottom. Need the bottom stacking space clearing. Drippy! 2 hours. John.

Saturday 18th March 2023

John Cooper, Nigel Graham (Entrance shaft), Pete Hann and Adrian Vanderplank. One mix of cement taken down and used by Pete at the bottom. One large rock passed up and broken up by Adrian. Capping and cementing next week. 1½ hours. John.

Saturday 11th March 2023

John Cooper, Pete Hann, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. One mix of cement taken down by Adrian and John whilst Jude and Pete went down and made a start clearing clatch from the floor. Once Pete swapped with Jude a few rocks were passed up then cementing started. Another 3 large rocks were passed up and broken up by John. Will need to clear the 184m OD level soon. Finally, Pete used the second load of cement and Adrian took a couple of pictures. Same again next week. 2 hours. John.

Saturday 4th March 2023

John Cooper, Nigel Graham, Pete Hann and Adrian Vanderplank. One mix of cement taken down by Pete and John whilst Adrian tried to coax Nigel down but he failed to reach the Tunnel again today. All the cement was used by Pete at the bottom. A couple of loads of rock moved up to the bottom stacking space at 184m OD. Draughting out again. Only one mix again next week. 2 hours. John.
