Clearing rocks from the bottom of Father Duckmas, then to the Tunnel, then to the bottom of the entrance shaft and finally 9 rather heavier loads reached the surface. Kushy visited the bottom, his first time down Pensioners' Pot. 2 hours. John.

John Cooper, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Clearing gravel from bottom and losing it in the wall of Pensioners’ Pot. Cave breathing out today and still nice and dry. 15 loads moved. 2 hours. John.

Adrian and Jude Vanderplank. One bucket of cement taken to the bottom of the dig. Adrian wall building, with Jude supplying rocks that had previously been stashed in alcoves further up Pensioners' Pot. Cave dry and gently draughting. Adrian.

John Cooper, Kate Lawrence, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Spoil clearing from bottom to top of Pensioners’ Pot and then on to the bottom of Father Duckmas. Nice and dry. 1½ hours. John.

John Cooper, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Capping kit taken in and used by Adrian at the bottom. Needs spoil removing before more can be done. Interesting hole in floor. Not too drippy. 1½ hours. John.

Tuesday 11th February 2025

John Cooper, Alison Moody, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Ali’s first time down so a short trip to the bottom and back. Wetter than last week, with standing water puddles close to the entrance. John stayed at the top of the final shaft but the rest went for a look/shower. A couple of inches of washed in gravel covering the capping mat at the bottom. 1 hour. John.

John Cooper, Kate Lawrence, Wayne Starsmore, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Spoil clearance session. Started by moving the spoil from the top of Father Duckmas shaft to the Tunnel. Moved on up and shifted the spoil to the bottom of the entrance shaft. Finally 10 rather heavier loads moved on up to the surface. Still drippy. 1½ hours. John.
