as access roads closed for Road run race. Double mix of cement taken in. Nice
outward draught today. All except for one handful used by John cementing a
supporting/retaining wall in the Dwarf Trap. Adrian used a handful cementing over
a couple of telltale cracks higher up. Still drippy. Still more cementing
required. 1½ hours. John.

Trap. Still drippy so had to use a plastic bag to cover some of it. At the end
ferried some rocks back down from the bottom of Father Duckmas Shaft to the top
of Pensioners’ Pot. 2 hours. John.
John Cooper and Pete Hann (Adrian and Jude on grandparent duty). A slightly
delayed start when John tried to get into his caving gear only to discover he
had left it at Upper Pitts! Second time around a double mix of cement was taken
in. Pete took in the first bucket and by the time John arrived with the second
Pete had finished the first and decided he would also use the third. John took
up the empty bucket and swapped it for the full one which he’d left it at the
bottom of Father Duckmas shaft. Took it on down and then passed it to Pete once
the second one was empty. The third one was soon used up so Pete descended the
last drop to inspect the real floor before we made out way out. More cementing
next week, although Pete away until the end of the month. 2 hours. John.
